Santa Barbara MTD Invitation for Bids for Nova Bus Flooring Replacement The Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District (MTD), a public transit operator, is accepting bids to replace the Altro floor covering in fourteen (14) 40-ft. Nova buses. Invitation for Bids (IFB) packages are available to interested parties starting on May 24, 2017. Packages may be obtained at: http://www.sbmtd.gov/business-and-employment/active.html. There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on May 31, 2017, starting at 10:00 A.M. at 550 Olive Street in Santa Barbara. SANTA YNEZ RIVER WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF GROUNDWATER ENGINEERING INVESTIGATION AND REPORT AND HEARING Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Water Code Section 75571, that the Santa Ynez River Water Conservation District will hold a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. on June 7, 2017 at the Buellton City Council Chambers, 140 West Highway 246, Buellton, California, to consider the Thirty-Ninth Annual Engineering Investigation and Report, prepared by Stetson Engineers, regarding groundwater conditions within the District. At the hearing, the Board will consider the District's budget for the 2017-18 Fiscal Year, and in accordance with Water Code Sections 75590 et seq., it will also consider establishing zones, setting rates and levying groundwater charges for FY 2017-18. A preliminary report was received by the District on March 1, 2017, a draft report on April 27, 2017 and the final report on May 2, 2017. The final report is available at the District Office, the libraries in Solvang, Buellton, and Lompoc, and in the offices of major water purveyors in the District. The District's FY 2017-18 draft budget and prospective rates are available at the District Office. Operators of water producing facilities within the District and all persons interested in the condition of the groundwater or surface water supplies within the District are invited to call at the District Office to examine the Investigation and Report and to submit evidence concerning the groundwater and surface water supplies of the District at the public hearing. Appearances may be made supporting or protesting the Engineering Investigation and Report, the District budget or prospective rates.
